On Wednesday, the District Magistrate took a review meeting of wheat procurement in the new auditorium at Sarsaiya Ghat. The District Magistrate said that all wheat purchasing centers in the district will start 17 March and operate till June 15. This time a special monitoring will be on the middleman. The middleman should not be seen at any purchasing center. If you see, immediately arrest him and send him to jail. Action will also be taken against the concerned center in -charge.
The District Magistrate directed all the center in -charge that farmers should not be exploited under any circumstances. Do not be disturbed. Farmers reaching purchasing centers should be treated well. The District Magistrate said that the MSP of wheat has been determined by the government of Rs 2425 per quintal. The prescribed MSP should be followed in the purchase. Complaints should not be received. A total of 67 purchasing centers are approved in the district. Arrangements at the centers should be completed in time. In the meeting, Additional District Officer Supply, District Food Viping Officer and concerned officers were concerned.
