UPSC CSE 2025 Applications: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the Civil Services Examination 2025 application process for the candidates interested for prestigious posts in Civil Services and Indian Forest Service. Interested and eligible candidates are available on UPSC CSE 2025 Application Form Commission’s official website upsconline.gov.in. Candidates will have to complete all four phases by February 11, 2025. A total of 1,129 vacancies have been announced through UPSC CSE 2025. This includes 979 posts in Civil Services and 150 in Indian Forest Service.
Before starting, candidates should ensure that they have active mobile number and email address, certificate of Bachelor Degree, recently taken passport size photo, scanned signature and a valid photo ID.

How to apply for UPSC 2025
The application process is divided into four parts-
Part I (OTR Profile)
Part II (Application Form)
Part III (Detault Apps Form – DAF)
Part IV (Fee, Photo, Signature and Examination Center Selection)
How to fill UPSC CSE 2025 application form
Part-1 registration
First of all, go to the candidate’s upsconline.nic.in or upsc.gov.in and download the notification.
Click ‘Apply online’ and choose ‘Online application for various exams’.
Register by filling personal details, educational qualification and contact information.
Provide photo ID details, graduation marks and examination center preference.
Verify the form before submitting, as editing is not allowed after the final submission.
After the completion of Part 1, the candidate will get unique registration ID. With its help, Part 2 part will be filled.
Part II: Application Form
Log in using RID and date of birth.
Pay the application fee online, offline or SBI challan. The fee for general category candidates is Rs 100, while SC/ST/Women/Divyang candidates have been exempted.

Upload these documents-
Photo in JPG format (20-300 KB)
Signature in JPG format (20-300 KB)
Photo Identity Card in PDF format (20-300 KB)
After this, check the form by checking the announcement box.
On completion of Part 2, candidates will be sent their registered email and confirmation message on the phone.
Part III: Detault Apps Form (DAF)
After completing Part II, candidates can access DAF to provide service preferences and additional details. It is mandatory to fill it for final registration.
Part IV: Free, Photo and Examination Center will be selected.
In this section, candidates have to upload the required documents in the prescribed format, pay the fee and select their favorite examination center to finalize their application.
