There are just two days left for Holi. On March 14, the festival of Holi will be celebrated across the country. During this time, the UP government has issued guidelines regarding that law and order should be maintained. Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar has issued a directive saying that no new tradition should be started during festivals. All festivals should be celebrated in a traditional way. Effective preventive action should be taken against them by identifying anti -social elements in advance. Last year, according to the controversies related to Holi and matters, according to it, effective preventive action should be taken.

Know the guidelines of UP DGP
- No new tradition should be allowed to start during the festival.
- Officers of Holika Dahan sites to be held in sensitive places should visit themselves
- A tour of all places with Holika Dahan and seminars should be done with the organizers.
- Adequate police force should be deployed at every Holika combustion site.
- Adequate manpower is deployed on mixed populated areas, procession routes and communal hotspots
- Police officer checking with CCTV and drone camera
- Police force should be arranged in places where Holi and Ramadan programs are at one time.
- 24×7 every platform of social media should be monitored
- Action should be taken by taking immediate cognizance of objectionable and misleading posts
- Poster party and morning checking team should be formed and removed regularly
It is important to take care of these things in UP on Holi
The DGP of UP has issued guidelines saying that on the basis of the incidents in the past, the police force should be properly arranged by identifying hotspots. Holi is falling on Jumme (Friday), so that is why all religions should be held by religious leaders and religious persons and other influential people and hold a seminar of district police officers and magistrates. Solve the problems mentioned on the festival on their behalf in advance.
