Will the stock market open or closed on the budget day?
There is news of relief for trading in the stock market. On 1 February 2025 (Saturday), NSE and BSE will be traded like normal days. This has been done because on this day Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2025-26 of FY 2025-26.
How will the trading schedule?
- Trading will be done in the stock market from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm.
- Pre-open session will be from 9:00 am to 9:08 am.
- Commodity Market will be open till 5:00 pm.
- T+0 will not be Same-Day Settlement, as this settlement will be holiday.
Will MCX also open?
Along with the stock market, the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will also be open for trading. The trading timing of MCX will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This will help the traders in real-time hedging and risk management on the basis of budget announcements.
