Puranpur, Amrit thoughts: The villagers got nervous due to the roaring of a tiger sitting in a sugarcane field near Khandepur village. On gathering the crowd, the forest department team reached and has increased the surveillance.
The tiger has been walking around Mahua Gunda, Khandepur and Fatepur villages of Garhwakheda police post area for several days. On Tuesday, a tiger was sitting in the sugarcane field of Uttam Awasthi near Baba Treta Nath Shiv Mandir in Khandepur. The villagers working in the fields got nervous when he roared. BJP’s Divisional General Secretary Achlendra Mishra informed the forest department officials.
The forest department team reached some time. Many people gathered on the information about the tiger sitting in the sugarcane field. Hariom Awasthi, Rishabh Pandey, Prasoon Mishra, Pawan Shukla, Shivom Shukla, Shashi Pandey, Uttam Awasthi, Kapil Awasthi, Subhash Mishra, Ashish Mishra, Kaushal Dixit, Jitendra Mishra etc. have demanded concrete steps to stop the knocking of wildlife.
