Moradabad, Amrit thoughts. The Municipal Corporation has received a major setback to the traders who have staged a sit-in demonstrations by closing shops to increase the fare and premium of shops. The Mandalayukta bluntly said that it would not be tolerated to protest to create inappropriate pressure. There will be no talk with the shopkeepers now.
Since Sunday, many traders doing business in municipal shops have closed their shops and sat on a dharna by announcing an uncertain strike. Merchants are accusing the mayor and municipal administration of arbitrariness. There was a program to meet the Mandalayukta and Municipal Commissioner on Monday. However, on Monday, the Mandalayukta expressed strong displeasure over the closure of the shops and continuing their performance and shouting slogans. He has now refused to talk to the traders.
Mandalayukta Anjneya Kumar Singh says that the shops will not be tolerated at all by closing shops due to unfair demands. If the traders have to protest, then do the same. He was ready to talk due to practicality. But, when he is closing the shop and giving a sit -in, then do the same. Both things will not run together. He cannot ask the municipal officials to do wrong work. Now whatever the matter will be from the city MLA, Mayor and Municipal Commissioner. Will not interact with traders.
