In the Farah police station area of Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday afternoon, the lover, who arrived at the village to meet a married girlfriend allegedly wearing a lehenga, set fire to him by spraying petrol. The police gave this information late in the evening. According to the police, the lover tried to run away from the roof to save his life, but he was seriously injured.
Police have admitted more than seventy percent of the alleged girlfriend and her lover to SN Medical College in Agra, where both are undergoing treatment. According to the police, the accused Umesh (28), a resident of Palwal, Haryana, was driven away from the house six months ago. The police had recovered the woman a month ago on 12 February.
Inspector (SHO) in charge of Farah police station, Sanjay Kumar Pandey said that Rekha (30), a resident of village Koh of police station area, was watching TV alone and seven -year -old daughter Roshni and five -year -old son Vishnu went to school. Husband Sanju went to the farm to work. Then in the afternoon, her lover Umesh, a resident of Hasanpur village in Haryana, took petrol in a bottle and reached her house from the roof. At that time, he came to disguise the woman wearing a lehenga. He had left his friend on the bike to the village. He landed in the courtyard and entered the line of line directly and started pressurizing him to walk with him.
When Rekha refused, she sprinkled petrol brought in the bottle and set it on fire. The woman was badly scorched. Rekha tried to catch Umesh, but he started running away. Meanwhile, after hearing Rekha’s screams, Umesh tried to run away from the roof by jumping into the street. But he was badly injured in this affair. Police reached the spot first to take the seriously scorched woman and Umesh to the Community Health Center of Farah, but they were referred to SN Medical College in Agra due to the condition of both.
The SHO told that Umesh is the brother of Rekha’s Jethani, so he used to come there. That is why the love affair in both of them flourished and on 31 August last year she went with her. The family members were recovered from Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh on 10 February a month ago after the police wrote a report in the police. After this incident, a lot of restrictions were imposed on both of them. Rekha also stopped talking to Umesh and today refused to go with him even after insisting. Teasing him, Umesh tried to burn him and kill him. He said that Tahrir has not yet been found in the case. On receiving Tahrir, action will be initiated by filing a case.
