Kanpur, Amrit thoughts. The unbeaten century of Sisamau Super Kings captain Adarsh Singh, Mayur Merriculs Kalyanpur, in the title match of KPL on Tuesday night, was trapped by 29 runs. The winning team was captured by the winning team of Rs 11 lakh with the gleaming trophy of Kanpur Premier League (KPL). In the final match, Sisamau scored 216 runs for one wicket in 20 overs thanks to Adarsh’s unbeaten 110 runs and won the title by stopping Mayur Merricles for 187 runs for eight wickets in the prescribed overs. Pachara maintained a thrill till the last over, but became a victim of Abhinav Sharma by playing a brilliant innings of 87 runs in 19.5 overs. Pachara hit 8 fours and 5 sixes in 48 balls. With the help of Saurabh Yadav’s unbeaten 13 runs, Mayur Merricles could score 187 for 8 wickets in 20 overs. For Sisamau, Abhinav Sharma took three, Ankur Pawar and Satyam Pandey took 2-2 wickets.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Sisamau Super Kings captain Adarsh Singh played an unbeaten 110 -run innings in the crucial match and took the team to a huge score of 216 runs. Adarsh shared 85 runs in 8.3 overs for the first wicket with Sarthak Lohia.
Sarthak scored 39 runs and stumped Divyanshu’s ball at the hands of wicketkeeper Sahil. This was the only wicket of the team, but Adarsh did not stop and shared an unbeaten 131 -run partnership for the second wicket with Abhishek Pandey. Adarsh scored 110 runs in 61 balls with the help of eight fours and eight sixes, while Abhishek added an unbeaten 54 runs in 32 balls with three fours and three sixes.

In the final match of Kanpur Premier League at Greenpark Stadium, Chief Guest BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla told reporters that Dr. Sanjay Kapoor has set a record of the country’s largest urban cricket league by organizing this tournament in Kanpur, which is a commendable praise. He said that many players from this league will play in the next season of UPCL and will be seen representing IPL and country in future.
