Bangladesh has been burning in the ‘fire’ of violence for a year. Despite all the claims, the current interim government does not seem to control the situation. The situation has become such that the student leaders who brought Mohammad Yunus to power while running a movement against former PM Sheikh Hasina of the country, are now seen standing against him. Amidst all this, senior leader of the Awami League, Dr. Rabbi Alam, has made a big claim regarding former Prime Minister of the country Sheikh Hasina. He has said that Sheikh Hasina is going to be the PM of the country once again. In this statement of Rabbi Alam, the political stir in Bangladesh has intensified.
‘The youth of the country made a mistake’
Rabbi Alam said that the Sheikh Hasina government by the youth of the country last year was his biggest mistake. We feel that the youth have made a mistake. He has also expressed concern over the current situation of Bangladesh. Rabbi said that Bangladesh is being attacked and it needs to be addressed by the international fraternity. The political rebellion is fine but this is not happening in Bangladesh. This is a terrorist rebellion.
‘India expressed gratitude’
Rabbi Alam has also thanked India. He has claimed that many of his leaders have taken shelter in India. He said that we thank India for this help.

Let us tell you that in the past, Bangladesh did not like Bangladesh’s strict comment on Younus government. And Dhaka had asked New Delhi to stop Sheikh Hasina from making ‘false and concocted’ comments while living in India. Now India’s statement has come on this. India has said that Sheikh Hasina has given this statement herself and India has nothing to do with it.
Learned to Bangladesh
India had strictly stated that the comments of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have been made in her personal capacity, India has no role in it. Responding to media questions, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said in a statement that it is not good for bilateral relations to combine the comments made in the personal capacity of Sheikh Hasina with India’s status.

It was reported that India wants positive, creative and mutually beneficial relations with Bangladesh, which has been repeated several times in recent high level meetings. However, it is regrettable that regular statements made by Bangladesh officials negatively portray India, holding us responsible for internal regime issues.
