Jarwalrod/Bahraich, Amrit thoughts. The smoke started coming out on Tuesday in the roadways bus going from Bahraich to Charbagh. After this, the engine caught fire with the spark. This caused a stir among the passengers. A big accident was averted due to the driver’s understanding. The bus was extinguished by stopping the bus.
A sudden fire and smoke in the engine of Bahraich depot from Bahraich to Charbagh (UP 78 AT 9352) stirred the passengers. At around five o’clock on Tuesday evening, the bus reached Rithodha area of Jarwal Road, when the smoke suddenly started to rise from its engine.
Bus driver Brijesh Mishra II immediately stopped the bus along the route in view of the seriousness of the situation. At the same time, an attempt was made to extinguish the engine by adding water to the conductor Ravi Pratap. During this time, due to the rapid smoke in the bus, there was chaos among the passengers and they started getting nervous and got off the bus.
TI Shyam Sundar, who was present on the road, reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. He said that there were a total of 30 passengers in the bus and only a strong smoke was raised in the engine, which was controlled in time. No passenger was harmed and everyone was safely sent to their destination by another bus.
This incident has once again raised questions on the status of the dilapidated buses, which has increased the concern about the safety of the passengers. Passengers say that long distance buses should be fine, so that there is no problem. Dilapidated buses should run in local.
