There has been a big accident in the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. On Wednesday, a large number of devotees gathered for the Amrit bath on Mauni Amavasya, due to which a stampede -like situations arose at Sangam Ghat. Many devotees are feared injured in this accident. The injured have been rushed to the hospital via ambulance. In view of this accident, all the 13 akharas have stopped their nectar bath today. The saints of the akhadas have returned to their camps. He believes that in such a situation, if he arrives for bathing, it will be difficult to keep the system correct. All the akharas have taken this decision collectively in the public interest.
After the stampede situation arose in Mahakumbh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to CM Yogi Adityanath on the phone. According to officials, this stampede has occurred due to excessive crowd. There was chaos after the crowd arrived at Sangam Ghat. If the situation is normal, the Akhara Parishad will take its decision on bathing. The nectar bath of Mauni Amavasya is till 9.30 pm, then the Akhara Parishad will take any decision about the Amrit bath only after the situation is normal.
Some women have fainted due to suffocation due to high crowd in the fair area, about one kilometer from Sangam. Being unconscious, she fell among the crowd. His fall formed a stampede -like situation. Immediately after the incident, the ambulance was immediately sent to the spot and the affected devotees were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Around 25-30 women have been admitted to the Central Hospital in the fair area. Due to this incident, the Amrit bath is taking a while to start. It has been told from the UP government that due to the huge crowd, the nectar bath of the akhadas will start late.
