Pilibhit, Amrit thoughts. The bail petition of an accused has been canceled by Sessions Judge Jitendra Kumar Sinha in the case of making passports with the help of fraudulent records. Please tell that a case was filed in this case about eight years ago.
According to prosecution plot, a report was filed on 16 September 2017 by Jayveer Singh in Puranpur Kotwali. In which it was told that an investigation of a beat information found that some people in Puranpur are making many passports by giving wrong name address and may be involved in wrongdoings. The wrongly made passport can be misused. On investigating it deeply, it was found that Surjit Singh son Jaspal Singh showed his address by showing his address to Sherpur Makarandpur village of Puranpur Kotwali area and made a certificate of wrong birth date from AM Academy East Secondary School Madhotanda and made a certificate of wrong birth date. Apart from this, he applied on the passport file on 19 July 2016 by making fake residence certificates from the office of SDM Puranpur. Based on the investigation, he received a passport from the passport office.
Similarly, Paramjit Singh’s son Kunnan Singh also applied the passport on August 8, 2017 by preparing the ID in a fake way and an attempt is being made to get the passport. Many people in the town are involved in an attempt to get this fake passport and are doing business of making passports of the wrong people by marking the name of Refrains without any consent on the wrong basis in the passport application. The work has been done by Surjeet Singh and Paramjit Singh to deliberately make fake certificates in the cooperation of local people and make passports by hiding the facts. After deliberation, the police filed the charge sheet in the court on 1 October 2019. In the same case, the bail plea of Gurjit Singh alias Ladda son Inderjit Singh, resident of village Todkeshar in Sarai Amanat Khan area of the accused Taran (Punjab), was given the bail petition in the Sessions Court. In which the accused was said to be innocent, saying that he was falsely implicated. Sessions Judge Jitendra Kumar Sinha has canceled the bail plea on the matter of serious nature.
Gurjeet is lodged in Bhatinda jail in another suit
It is said that accused Gurjit Singh is lodged in Central Jail Bhatinda in another suit. After hearing the bail application, his advocate had argued that he could not even surrender due to being jailed in another suit. The charge sheet of accused Gurjeet has been presented at the CJM. But his custody has not been taken in the said suit yet. The production warrant of the accused has reached the District Prison Bhatinda. Therefore, he is not being released from there.
