Bareilly, Amrit thoughts: People have to go home on Holi but do not find a place in trains. Passengers have to fight to get a seat in the train. The same condition in trains reached the junction on Wednesday.
Railways are operating 80 special trains for the convenience of passengers on Holi, but passengers are going to regular trains and special trains are going empty. Five special trains were operated till evening on Wednesday, but only three hundred people bought sleepers and general tickets in these trains. Apart from this, there was a crowd of passengers in trains running for Delhi, Lucknow, Saharsa, Anand Vihar Terminal.
Divisional Railway Manager inspected Holi
Moradabad Divisional Railway Manager Rajkumar Singh inspected Bareilly Junction on Wednesday due to the crowd of passengers on Holi. He stopped at Bareilly Junction for 10 minutes and saw security arrangements. Officers were alerted as soon as DRM reached Bareilly Junction. He instructed the passengers to control the crowd at the junction by instructions to keep cleanliness.
