When did the train attack
Security sources said that 37 passengers were injured during the rescue operation and they have been provided medical treatment. Officials said that the Jafar Express train was going from Quetta to Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with about 500 passengers in nine coaches, when the armed attackers stopped it on Tuesday afternoon in a tunnel near Piru Kunari and Gudlar areas in Bolan area. The ‘Balochistan Liberation Army’ (BLA) later took responsibility for this attack.
First explosion, then shelling
Some passengers claimed that the attackers had told them that they were leaving Baloch, women, children and the elderly, but government officials claimed that they had saved more than 100 people of them. According to a report by ‘BBC Urdu’, Mushtaq, riding in box number three of the train, said, “A major explosion occurred at the beginning of the attack. After this, the firing started, which continued for an hour. This was a scene that could never be forgotten. ”
Nothing said to ordinary citizens

A passenger named Ishaq Noor, who was riding in box number seven of the same train, was going from Quetta to Rawalpindi with his wife and two children. Ishaq Noor said, “The explosion was so strong that the windows and doors of the train were shaken and a child sitting near me fell down. The firing would have lasted for about 50 minutes … During this time we were not able to breathe, we did not know what would happen. ”Mushtaq said that the firing gradually stopped and the armed people entered the train coaches. He said, “He started looking at the identity cards of some people and separated some of them. Three terrorists were guarding the doors of our compartment. He told the people that they would not say anything to common citizens, women, old and Baloch people.
The attackers were talking in Baluchi language

Mushtaq said that the attackers were talking among themselves in Baluchi language and their leader was repeatedly telling them that they should keep a special eye on the security personnel and they should not get out of hand. Ishaq said, “I think he brought down at least 11 passengers from our compartment and said that he is a security personnel.” During this time a person tried to protest after which he was tortured and then the sound of bullets came. After this, all the people present in the compartment followed their instructions. “He said,” They were not letting me go but when I told him that I told him that I am a resident of Trubat (Balochistan) and I have children and women with me, they also let me go. “
There were about 1100 attackers
Another passenger Mohammad Ashraf said that the terrorists allowed the elderly, citizens, women and children to go. He said, “The passengers were very scared, it was a dreadful scene as the day of doom.” Ashraf said, “According to my estimates, they (extremists) took around 250 people with them and the number of attackers was around 1,100.”
