The Jafar Express going from Quetta to Peshawar in Pakistan has been hijacked by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) rebels. There are hundreds of passengers on this train. The Jaffer Express train goes from Quetta to Rawalpindi to Peshawar. Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said in a statement that there were reports of fierce firing between Pehro Kunari and Gadalar on the Jafar Express going from Quetta to Peshawar. According to the controller, the train was stopped by armed people in tunnel number 8. Efforts are being made to contact passengers and employees.

Who is Baloch rebel?
Baloch rebel is an active armed group in the Balochistan province of Pakistan, which demands autonomy or full freedom of Baloch people.
