After the incident like a stampede at Mahakumbh Fair, devotees kept coming to the Ganges and Sangam coast throughout the day. According to the fair administration, 7.64 crore people took a dip by 8 pm on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya Snan on Wednesday. According to the data released by the fair administration, a total of 7.64 crore devotees, including more than 10 lakh Kalpavis, took a bath in the Ganges and Sangam till 8 pm on Mauni Amavasya.

Flower rain on devotees with helicopter
During this time, flowers were shown to the devotees by helicopter. According to the fair administration, 19.94 crore devotees have taken a bath in the Mahakumbh Mela, which started on 13 January. An official said that crores of people continued to come from all four directions in the fair area and the district administration also opened the gate of Chandrashekhar Azad Park to control the crowd, so that people sat in the park instead of the road.

A huge crowd of devotees in Mahakumbh
A day after the stampede incident in the fair area, the state government intensified efforts to control the crowd and ensure the safety of the devotees. Meanwhile, on Thursday, a large number of devotees continue to come to the fair area. Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Anshuman Mishra told ‘PTI-language’ that the movement of vehicles will be stopped till the fair is reduced. Also, until the crowd exits the fair area, outside trains will not be allowed to enter the city, although the officer can allow entry of vehicles by looking at the situation at a higher level.
