Pickle
Fresh turmeric pieces – 250 grams
Fresh Ginger pieces – 150 grams
Garlic – 2 Complete
Green Chilli – 15 to 20 (cut from the middle)
Rye – 2 teaspoon
Fennel grains – 1 teaspoon
Black pepper -1 teaspoon
Mustard oil – 2 tablespoons
Pink Himalayan Salt – One and a half teaspoon
Fresh Lemon Juice – Half Cup
Asafoetida – a little
Pickle method
- To make ginger and turmeric pickle, first wash and clean the pieces of turmeric and ginger.
- Now cut ginger and turmeric into thin slices.
- After this, peel the garlic.
- Now heat oil in a vessel and cook it by adding mustard seeds, fennel, black pepper and asafetida.
- After this, add turmeric, ginger, green chillies and garlic to this mixture and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and keep this mixture to cool down.
- When the mixture cools down, squeeze the fresh lemon juice in it.
- Pickle is ready. Fill the pickle in a clean glass jar.
- Keep this pickle in room temperature for 2 to 3 days. This will give pickle to the pickle. After this it can be eaten.
