Social media makes hunting on platform
According to sources, the youths told the police that the social media used to take out the job advertisements on the platform. Through this, the youths used to be taken in a trap. In these advertisements, the fraudsters also used to give the number of their agents. On whom the young man would call. Then the agents used to deposit money for their passport, visa. Also, they used to submit their necessary documents. For this, small offices were opened in Lucknow, Basti, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Sitapur, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Mau, Deoria, Kushinagar, Hardoi, Ayodhya. After collecting documents there, everyone was sent to Lucknow. An agent from Lucknow was seated on a flight to Myanmar.
Whose salary is like that
Initial investigation revealed that cyber thugs had given the victims jobs according to their merit. The victims included people up to graduation, BTech, MTech and MBA passes. Cyber thugs took their educational certificates from everyone. After that his salary and work was fixed. All were told to be 30 thousand to 70 thousand rupees salary.
Used to keep everyone in the same building
The victims told the police that cyber thugs had placed them in a building on Myanmar border. The call center was running in the said building itself. There was a arrangement for everyone to stop on one floor. Everyone used to work there and food and water were given there. Those held hostage were people from other provinces and districts including UP.
The gang was operating by sitting in China
It is clear from the investigation so far that Girhe’s mastermind is sitting in China. He used to provide other necessary information to his disciples including bank details of victims in India and other countries. After that, the hostage people used to call the victims and disappear from their account. So far, it is difficult to tell how many people of the country and abroad have been victims of cheating. After this information, apart from cyber police station and cyber cell, agencies have become active.
Used to talk to the family at gunpoint once in two days
The victims told the police that it was allowed to talk to the family for some time only once in 48 hours. During this time, armed security personnel used to stand around him. The entire conversation used to be captured in CC camera. In a few minutes, the victims were able to ask only about the family’s well being and getting money.

According to police sources, five of the 21 people who are free from the bondage of cyber criminals are from Lucknow. Among them Anas, Vipin Yadav, Aman Singh, Sultan Salhadi Rabbani and Tausif are. Investigation revealed that four cases were registered against the gang at the Anti Human Trafficking Police Station.
