The Mumbai Police has taken major action in the case of achieving the UK’s visit visa by showing fake documents. 7 students and one agent have been arrested in this case. It is being told that the agent had taken Rs 20 lakh from every student. At the Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, the Mumbai Police questioned 7 students who were going to London via Jeddah during the investigation.
Visa gained on fake documents
During this inquiry, it was found that these students got a visa on the basis of fake information and documents and to do so, the agent took Rs 20-20 lakh from them. In this case, the police have arrested 8 people and further investigation is being done by Mumbai Crime Branch. In fact, this case is on the night of March 9, when police personnel on duty in the Bureau of Immigration were investigating the documents, tickets, passports, and visa of many passengers going abroad. During this time, two students reached the checking counter to check the immigration.

London was going through Jeddah
When his boarding pass was seen for investigation, it was found that both of them were going to London via Jeddah. When he was asked the reason for going to London, both of them described themselves as students and said that both of them are students of Om Sterling Global University in Hisar, Haryana. He also claimed that he is going to attend the London Student Exchange Program and also said that the university professor Vijender Premchand is also with him.
How did the police suspect students
When the police staff asked both of them, what they study in that university and in which university in London are they going for a summit. Both did not answer properly on these two questions. On suspicion, both were presented in front of the Wing Incharge for further verification and investigation. Meanwhile, 5 more students arrived at the immigration counter and everyone described themselves as a student of “Om Sterling Global University” and claimed that they are going to do the London “Student Exchange Program”. After which more officers reached there and started questioning Vijender.

What students told the police
In this inquiry, he claimed that two of his university professors asked him to do so and told that he had met all these students and an agent named Bitta in a hotel in Delhi. In Delhi, he assured everyone to send the UK and asked for every one to 20 lakh rupees for the visa and when the students showed preparations to pay the money, after that this (Bitta) agent made everyone a student of “Om Sterling Global University” and made a Bogus document and made a visit visa of UK.
In this case, the Sahar police of Mumbai registered an FIR against 8 passengers under sections 12 of Indian Passport Act and BNS under Sections 143, 318 (4), 336 (2), 336 (3) and 340 (2) and the case was transferred to the Crime Branch for further investigation.
