Kanpur, Amrit thoughts. The expansion of metro passenger services from Motijheel to Kanpur Central will be inaugurated soon. In this regard, the Metro Rail Safety Commissioner (CMRS) team came to the city for the second time to inspect the metro section. As soon as the approval of CMRS, the Metro will start operating till Kanpur Central.
For the second time a six -member team of CMRS has come to Kanpur from Delhi to take stock of the construction works of Kanpur Metro. The team will inspect the metro section from Motijheel to Kanpur Central for two days. During this time track, tunnel and stations will be seen and tested. Earlier in late February, the team came to Kanpur.
The Metro Rail Safety Commissioner is expected to visit after the team’s inspection process is completed. Only after giving their no objection certificate, the passenger services of the metro will be expanded. Along with this, five new stations in front of Motijheel will be connected to Chuniganj, Naveen Market, Bada Square, Nayaganj and Kanpur Central Network.
