In fact, Lakhpato Devi, who lives in Balthari village of Kochus block in Rohtas district, went to Mahakumbh for a holy bath. But she was lost there. Finally, with the help of social media, Lakhpato Devi was able to return to her home.
Rohtas woman found in Garhwa, Jharkhand
Lakhpato Devi went to a Mahakumbh bath with her family on 24 February, but due to a huge crowd, she got separated from her family members. The family tried to find them for two days but did not get any success. Finally, 15 days later, his news was found in Bahiarpur Khurd Panchayat of Garhwa district of Jharkhand. With the efforts of Soni Devi, the head of the panchayat, the woman was safely taken to her family.
The woman got shelter due to the effort of the head
Virendra Baitha, husband of Soni Devi, head of Bahiyarpur Khurd Panchayat, told that one day a 60 -year -old woman came to her house and started saying something. His wife gave shelter to the woman who was seen in a deranged condition, fed food and made arrangements for living, after which she contacted Anjani Singh, the head of her familiar panchayat and shared the picture of the woman on social media.
Social media introduced mother-son
When the picture of Lakhpato Devi went viral on social media, his son Rahul Kumar caught sight of him. He immediately recognized his mother and brought back home. Rahul said that his mother had found shelter at the house of Vishnu Dev Paswan of Garhwa, where he found his family’s love and care.
Families kept searching for two days in Mahakumbh
Rahul Kumar said that on February 24, his mother was separated in the Kumbh Mela, after which the family tried to find him for two days. When no success was found, he lodged a police complaint and finally returned to the village.

Rahul said that on March 10, when his mother’s picture went viral on social media, he got information. He immediately reached Bahiyarpur Khurd in Garhwa and recognized his mother. The people of the village gave full respect and love to his mother. Being emotional, Rahul said that thanks to social media, who introduced my mother to me.
