Ayodhya, Amrit thoughts: The Government of Uttar Pradesh has launched a new initiative to install ‘kiosks’ at major places for the convenience of pilgrims and tourists coming to Ayodhya.
According to officials, these ‘kiosks’ will provide information about the opening of major religious places including Ram temple and Hanumangarhi, and other necessary details. Under this initiative, ‘kiosks’ will be installed at four major places including railway stations and airports. These ‘kiosks’ designed to help visitors will not only provide guidance but will also give information related to historical, cultural and tourism. The Ayodhya Tirtha Development Authority is working to implement this project and if it is successful, the initiative will be expanded to other places. The cost of each ‘kiosk’ will be around 2.5 lakh rupees.
The Authority Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Santosh Sharma said, “Our aim is to provide convenient and informative experience to pilgrims coming to Ayodhya. ‘Kiosk’ will have a ‘touchscreen interface’, so that individuals will be able to get access to relevant information easily. Additionally, they may also include ‘Voice Command’ feature. He said that a QR code scanner will also be added, so that visitors will be able to get information directly on their mobile phone. Sharma said that to ensure uninterrupted service, these ‘kiosks’ will be equipped with facilities like Internet connectivity and power backup system.
