While the administration is on alert mode on the prayers of Holi and Jumme on Friday, the Muslim religious gurus have been instructed to offer the prayers of Juma after half an hour in the mosque in Mohalla Masoor and Ban Mandi Tirahe in the town, ie after two o’clock in the afternoon.
Imam Hafiz Kifayat Ulla of Jama Masjid in Mohalla Mansoor in the town and Imam Hafiz of the mosque in Ban Mandi Tiraha said that on Friday, the time of prayer has been changed keeping in mind the festival of Holi. He said that keeping in mind the festival of Holi, an appeal has been made to offer prayers at two o’clock in the afternoon. He has also urged all the members of the Muslim community to show patience and generosity during Holi, if a child accidentally adds color. So he should smile and answer and say ‘Holi Mubarak’ with a sense of love and respect.
Mosques are located on the procession route
A procession is taken out every year in the town on Holi festival. Which starts from Bagh Panchayati to Teen Bazaar Ban Mandi Tirahe and reaches the site again. Both the mosque is located on the procession road, due to which the time of the prayers of both mosques has been changed in the town. Bharat Gupta, chairman of the Holi Festival Committee, also thanked the Muslim brothers on the said decision. He has appealed to celebrate the festival of colors together.
