In Sitapur district, in the case of the murder of a reporter of a daily newspaper in the past, the local people are also expressing anger over the murder with the local public mind. On Wednesday, all the officials of the Journalist Kalyan Sangharsh Samiti in Bilhaur Tehsil Auditorium submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister to Deputy District Magistrate and ACP Bilhaur. On this occasion, all the officials of the committee have demanded in the memorandum that the killer of journalist Raghavendra Vajpayee should be revealed as soon as possible and financial assistance should also be provided to the family.
Along with curbing these incidents with journalists continuously by the state government, such policies should also be created for the safety of journalists, so that journalists can be protected in future. On this occasion, Harinath Singh, Marshall Awasthi, Rahul Tripathi, Abhay Pratap Singh, Arun Pandey, Anand Tiwari, Sunil Mishra, Roshan, Puneet Sharma, Afaq, Shivshankar were present on the occasion. The memorandum has been submitted by Sumit’s officer to Deputy District Magistrate Rashmi Long and ACP Bilhaur Amarnath Yadav.
