Principal of GSVM Medical College Prof. Sanjay Kala informed that a kidney transplant center will be set up in the college under the National Anga Transplant Program (NOTP) scheme. For this, general grant assistance of Rs 1 crore 43 lakh has been approved to the college administration.
The Pay and Accounts Officer of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has directed to make them aware of the approval of the competent authority for the establishment of the Center. With the establishment of a reenal transplant center, the life of patients can be saved by kidney transplant in the college. You will not have to go to Lucknow for transplants as now.
