Kanpur, Amrit thoughts. The meeting of the zonal executive of UP GST Officer Seva Sangh was held under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner and Zonal Secretary Ram Singh Yadav. All Additional Commissioners and Joint Commissioners were involved in the meeting. During this time it was said that the taxpayer should get enough opportunity to hear.
It was informed in the meeting that SLP-02, which is related to interest and fine waiver to be filed by the traders. This is a sw9 plan for traders. Setting the target on daily basis to the authorities is irrational and impractical, on which the officer can only urge the taxpayer. The CGST department has not adopted any such functioning in this regard. Unnecessary pressure is being made by ordering the disposal of prior promises.
It is not possible to do quality work with this. If the taxpayer does not get adequate hearing opportunities, his natural justice will be violated. It was said that instructions are being given to feed information related to SP-02 daily through Google Sheet. Reporting such information is unnecessary and misuse of time.
It was said in the meeting that the standards and goals of the work in the departmental functioning are being determined in such a way, which is not possible to comply under normal circumstances. These standard are being determined keeping in mind the provisions of GST Act. It seems that the standards are being determined with the intention of punishing the authorities. All the members protested on this. Additional Commissioner Grade-1 Zone I Shashank Shekhar Mishra, Additional Commissioner Grade-2 Sanjay Kumar Pathak, Kumar Anand, RP Pandey, KN Pal were present in the meeting.
