A jewelery shop in Lucknow is selling a special silver atomizer and small buckets worth Rs 1 lakh before the festival of Holi. Talking to ANI, Jeweler Adesh Kumar Jain said, “This is an old tradition in which it is gifted among the family of the newly married couple, where the bride’s family gives it a gift to the groom’s family as a pledge … It costs from about Rs 8000 to Rs 1 lakh …”
The jeweler said that giving silver atomizer gift is an old tradition. In some families, the bride’s family gifts it to the groom’s family. The price of these pitchers ranges from Rs 8,000 to Rs 1 lakh. Jain said, “This year was special because for the first time complex carvings, Meenakari work and stone Hardi were introduced, which has been highly appreciated.”

Regarding the sale, Jain said, “The response has been very good. So far, at least 1,000 pitchers have been sold in Lucknow. Since we do the wholesale business, many shopkeepers have purchased us to sell their customers. I believe that this tradition of marriage will become even more popular in the coming years.”
As soon as Holi approaches Holi, people are showing interest in these unique and traditional pitchers. Meanwhile, a sweet shop in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh has taken out a unique idea of ’Golden Gujiya’. In this festive season, the shop has made a special sweets amidst the skyrocketing prices of sweets, which is priced at Rs 50,000 per kg and Rs 1300 per piece.
