NVS-02 navigation satellite launch
ISRO launched its 100th Mission, NVS-02 navigation satellite from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh through GSLV-F15. ISRO posted on X and gave information about successfully launch of GSLV-F15. This is the first mission under the leadership of ISRO President V Narayanan. He took over on 13 January.

Another big success of ISRO
Land-aggravated satellite launch vehicle (GSLV) along with indigenous cryogenic phase was launched from the second launch pad here on January 29, at 6.29 am on January 29. This navigation satellite is the second satellite of the ‘Navigation with Indian Constitution’ (sailor) series.
What is the benefit of launch of GSLV-F15
Its purpose is to provide accurate status, speed and time to users in areas about 1,500 km from the Indian subcontinent as well as about 1,500 km from the Indian territory. Many sources told ‘PTI-Bhasha’, “27.30 hours of vomiting count started late Monday night at 53 minutes.”
