The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said on Thursday that it has completed the ‘separating) satellites’ de-dock’. This has cleared the way for future missions such as the discovery of the moon, human space flight and creating its own space station. Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced the successful ‘de-docking’ of satellites in a post on ‘X’.
Singh said that Spades satellites incredibly completed the process of ‘de-docking’. This will pave the way for the smooth operation of future ambitious missions including Indian Space Station, Chandrayaan 4 and Gaganyaan. He said, “Congratulations to ISRO’s team. It is a matter of happiness for every Indian. ”Singh said that the constant guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi enhances enthusiasm.
The Spadex Mission was started on December 30 last year, when ISRO installed two satellites – SDX 01 and SDX 02 in orbit to showcase the experiment in space. ‘Space Docking’ is called the process of adding two satellites to space.
After several attempts, the space agency successfully docked both satellites on 16 January. Later, in a statement, ISRO said that after ‘Undocking’ he planned further experiments with satellites.
It said in a statement, “Spades satellites were successfully ‘Dock’ successfully on 16 January 2025. ISRO has now completed an important campaign to ‘ignore the spadex satellites’ on 13 March 2025 at 09:20 am (as per Indian). “The space agency said that the process of separating the satellites was with 45 degrees inclination in a circular orbit of 460 km. It said that the satellites are now freely orbiting and their position is normal .. Along with this, ISRO has now successfully performed all the capabilities required for ‘docking’ and ‘ignorant’ tasks in a circular orbit.
