Prayagraj, Amrit thoughts. The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday accepted the bail plea of former SP MLA Irfan Solanki in the case of air travel on fake Aadhaar card. The said order passed by a single bench of Justice Ajay Bhanot at Gwalatoli police station in Kanpur, giving relief in the case filed in 2022 against Irfan Solanki. However, even after getting bail in the air travel case, Irfan Solanki will not be able to come out of jail, as another case registered under the Gangster Act is under consideration.
A non -bailable warrant was issued in a case against Irfan Solanki and his brother Rizwan Solanki, to avoid this, the former SP MLA made a fake Aadhaar card in the name of Ashraf Ali, brother of Nuri Shaukat, a resident of Gwalatoli, to hide his identity. Noori Shaukat got an airplane ticket in the name of Ashraf Ali from his account. On that air ticket, Irfan Solanki entered the airport using the name of Ashraf Ali and Ashraf Ali’s name and traveled from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai on 11 November 2022. Along with this, Irfan Solanki along with his driver and another person named Ali was released to Indira Gandhi Airport, New Delhi and helped to escape to avoid arrest.
Thus, Irfan Solanki was accused of fake identity cards, Aadhaar cards and air tickets and accused them of escaping to avoid arrest. Due to this, an FIR was lodged by Inspector Ashok Kumar Dubey against Irfan Solanki, Rizwan Solanki, Noori Shaukat, Ashraf Ali, Ammar Elahi, Ishrat, Anwar Mansuri, Akhtar Mansuri and Ali on 26 November 2022 under various sections of IPC in Police Station Gwalatoli, Kanpur Nagar.
