Ipu admission 2025: The process of admission in UG, PG and PhD courses of IP i.e. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha (IPU) is going to start tomorrow, February 1. IP Vice Chancellor Prof. Mahesh Verma announced to start the admission process for academic session 2025-26 in more than 40,000 seats in graduation, postgraduate and PhD programs in 106 colleges and 18 universities schools. However, classes will be held in August. The application fee and counseling fee will be charged a lump sum of Rs 2500 this time. In a program organized on this occasion, Vice Chancellor Padma Shri Prof. Dr. Mahesh Verma released graduates, mentor and PhD programs admitted booklets.
New courses
MSc in Molecular Diagnostics, MSc in Microbiology, BPT, LLB (3 years), PG Program in Applied Geoinformatics and PG Diploma in Radiological Physics.
Classes will be held in August
This year, about 250 additional seats have been added to various programs in the university campus, while 1600 new seats were added last year. The Vice Chancellor said that the online application process for admission in 46 streams of master’s degree, 40 PhD and 34 subjects of bachelor’s degree programs will start from 1 February 2025. Classes will start from August.
Girl reserved for quota
One seat in each program in university schools will be reserved for single girl quota. A maximum of 2% of admission to a particular program will be filled under sports quota in universities schools.
CET will be on 18 May
A total of 52 general entrance examinations (CETs) will be held between April 26 to May 18, 2025. On the other hand, online counseling for MBA (via CAT), LLB and LLM (CLAT UG/PG) will start from May 1.
Online and offline counseling from June 2
Online and offline counseling for many courses of IP University will start from June 2. Various entry mode includes national level examinations through JEE Mains, NEET UG, PG and SS, CAT, CMAT, NIST, CLAT -UG and PG, UCD, Nata etc. General entrance exams / CUET UG and PG and some programs will be admitted through merit of qualification examinations. Admissions for vacant seats will be in 20 undergraduate degree programs and 18 postgraduate degree programs through CUET.
