Train Ticket Rules for Kids: Crores of people travel daily from Indian Railways. For the convenience of passengers, Indian Railways have made some rules, such as children, women, elderly and disabled people are given special discounts during ticket booking in trains. According to age, some children do not seem to have a train tickets for child and some have a half -ticket.

Train tickets will not be taken for children of this age

Children 5 to 12 year olds have half ticket
According to the Indian Railway Ticket for Child, if your child is 5 years to 12 years old and he is traveling in a train with you, then you will have to take his half ticket. But remember that children will not be given a birth in half ticket, you have to adjust with you. If you want the child to get a separate seat, then you have to take out his full ticket.
If you want a seat for a child, you will have to pay rent

Full tickets for children of 13 years and above
If the age of your child is 13 years or above, then for that you will have to remove full tickets. Half the ticket i.e. half -ticket rule is present only for children from 5 to 12 years.
Document verification and ticket booking

Penalty for traveling without tickets
