She was constantly demanding action from Kanpur Commissionerate’s top officials and SITs. A week ago, the student had reconciled the letter to DGP Prashant Kumar and pleaded for justice for action.
The victim alleges that the police is not giving them any information in their case. According to the victim, she is being falsely accused of getting married, while I did not marry. I rely on the police, not on the police. If justice is not found, I do not know what I will do. Efforts are being made to ruin my future.
Former ACP Mohsin Khan filed a petition in the High Court on 16 December after the FIR was registered. He demanded a ban on arrest and cancellation of the FIR registered. Irfan Ullah and Vikram Singh, advocates of former SP MLA Irfan Solanki, who are jailed in ACP, are fighting.
Advocate, while favoring the ACP in the High Court, said that Mohsin had sent a divorce notice to his wife a year ago. The matter is under consideration in the court. Along with this, a document related to the court marriage was presented.
In this, the student was claimed to get married. There is also the signature of the student in the form related to the marriage. However, no documents of marriage registration could be produced. In view of all these facts, the High Court had stayed the arrest of ACP Mohsin.
Story between ACP and victim
West Bengal PhD student met ACP Mohsin Khan in IIT in December 2023. During that time, they took each other’s mobile number. According to the victim, on 23 June 2024, Mohsin called her that he wanted to do PhD from IIT, for this help is needed. On this, he deposited the admission fees.
Gave walk in interview tips. He interviewed and got admission. Gradually both of them came closer. Meanwhile, Mohsin Khan proposed a relationship. According to the victim, she said that she is unmarried. He trusted Mohsin. Started spending time in the hostel room. The ACP formed a relationship. Meanwhile, it was found that he is married. Controversy started about this. Mohsin said that the wife is going to be divorced. When she reached ACP’s house, it was found that the matter of divorce is false.
