Gonda, amrit vichar: District Chief Development Officer Ankita Jain celebrated Holi by worshiping cow on Thursday. During this, he told the concerned personnel that there should be no shortage of any kind in the care of destitute cows. Chief Development Officer Ankita Jain reached Rudargarh Nausi, Go Aashiya Center at Mujehna on Thursday.
The CDO vaccinated cows by garlanding them and then fed jaggery and sweet and called them. The cow dynasty was also seen moving from the CDO’s affection. After Gaupujan, the CDO visited the cowshed and inquired about the arrangements there. The CDO told the personnel present at the shelter center that there should be no shortage in the care of destitute cows. They should be given sufficient amount of fodder straw. Their health should also be taken care of regularly. During this time, when there was no green fodder, the CDO said that green fodder will be arranged.
Holi of flowers played at Sonvarsa Ashram,
Holika Dahan will be held this evening and Rangotsav festival will be celebrated tomorrow on Friday. Earlier on Wednesday night, Holi of flowers was played at Sonvarsa Dham in Deoria Alawal of Mehanoun assembly constituency and Bhajan Sandhya program was organized. When the Peethadhishwar saint Chhota Baba welcomed his followers by wreathing, the devotees greeted Holi by showering flowers.
District Panchayat Raj Officer Lal Ji Dubey, Dhanepur Nagar Panchayat President Representative Raksharam Verma and former Minister Self Pandit Singh Take nephew Suraj Singh also attended the program. Everyone rained flowers on each other and wished Holi. This was followed by a program of Bhajan Sandhya in which many other people including DPRO performed. Saint Chhota Baba said that Holi is a festival of love and harmony. All the people together celebrate this festival.
