New Delhi, Amrit thoughts: Hundreds of youth had stunned their lives to free the country from the chains of slavery. One such great revolutionary was Punjab -born Bharat Mata’s immortal son Udham Singh. Udham Singh had a profound impact of Jallianwala Bagh massacre of Amritsar and he vowed to avenge it at all costs. He went to London to avenge the incident and went there and killed the then Lieutenant Governor Michael O ‘Dyer of Punjab. This fan of independence took the death of unarmed Indians on the O’Dire, who has issued a decree to death, he took a bullet on 13 March 1940 and set an example of bravery.
