Amid the ongoing ceasefire agreement with Israel, the Palestinian organization Hamas (Israel-Hamas War) has confirmed the death of his Military Chief Mohammad Daif for the first time. Israel did an air strike on 13 July 2024 at Al-Masi camp in Gaza. 90 people were killed in this attack. More than 300 were injured. After that the Israeli Army claimed that Hamas’ Chief Daif was killed in Israeli’s air strike. However, the next day Hamas rejected this claim. Now 6 months later, on Thursday, Hamas issued a statement saying that the Military Chief Daife was killed in the Israeli air strike. On the other hand, Israel has released 110 Palestinian prisoners on Thursday.
Mohammad Daife was a long time Hamas’s shadow military leader. Daif was in a long time in Israel’s most wanted list. He is considered the master mind of rocket attacks on Israel on 7 October 2023. On this day, Hamas fired more than 5 thousand rockets and missiles from Gaza Strip towards Israel. Not only this, Hamas fighters infiltrated the tunnel and killed hundreds of citizens in Israel. Hamas’s fighters took more than 250 Israeli citizens hostage and took them to Gaza.
Israel started the operation to end Hamas again
After Hamas’s rocket attacks, Israel started the operation to erase Hamas’s name-o-nishan. After which the war started in Gaza. At present, on the war that has been going on for 15 months, it is currently stopped due to ceasefire. During this time Hamas is releasing the Israelis held hostage. In return, Israel is also leaving Hamas’s prisoners and Palestinians.
Hamas released 11 Israeli hostage in 3 phases
In this episode, 3 Israeli and 5 of Thailand have been released on Thursday. All these people were taken hostage by Hamas on 7 October 2023. Hamas has released the hostages in two phases. The Israeli hostage Agam Berger was first released from Jabalia. After this, 7 hostages were released from Khan Younis. So far, 11 Israeli hostages have been released in 3 phases. In this, 10 Israeli women hostages and 1 elderly mortgage have been released.
Israeli left 110 Palestine prisoners
In response, Israel on Thursday released 110 prisoners of Palestine in two buses. These buses reached Ramalla of West Bank occupied late at night. Hundreds of Palestinians expressed happiness on seeing the buses. Israel has so far released more than 400 Palestinians.
Ceasefire’s next phase on 3 February
Now the next phase of ceasefire is to be discussed from 3 February. Its purpose is to eliminate the war permanently.

-Mohammad Daife was the head of Hamas’s Military Wing since 2002. He was born in 1965 at the Khan Younis Camp (Refugee Camp) of Gaza. At that time Gaza was occupied by Egypt.
-Diif saw his relatives fighting the battle of Palestine since childhood. Hamas was established in the late 80s. Since then, Daif had joined it. At that time he must have been around 20 years of age.
This was the first Palestinian Intifada or rebellion against the occupation of Israel on the West Bank and Gaza Strip. During this time Daif was attributed to the death of dozens of people in suicide bombings. After this, no photo of the public domain was also revealed.
In 1993, an agreement was reached in the US, thousands of miles from Israel-Pilistine, known as the Oslo Agreement. Under this agreement, Israel was recognized on 10 September 1993.
