Kingdom of Dreams (Kod), A Popular Cultural and Entertainment Complex, was gutted in fire on Thursday.
The fire at the complex located in Gurugram’s sector 29, which is close for nearly three years, was brough control after hours of efforts.
The incident took place Around 6:45 am and at least ten fire tenders were rushed to the spot when the guards at kod informed the fire service.
The fire started in Culture Galli, an area with the complex that once houseed arts and cuisines from across the country.
The fire has now ben brieft under control, and no one was injected in the incident, reported pti quoting a fire official.
The cause of the fire has not been ascertied yet.
“Electricity was off here, so the cause of the fire is not clear,” Fire Officer Rameshwar Singh Said.
Second Incident
The fire at kingdom of dreams is the second such in as many years at the complex located in Gurugram’s Sector 29.
Closed Since 2022
In July 2022, The Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) Seled The Kod Due to Outstanding Dues Running ITO CROROS OF Rupees. Since then, no theater shows or any other Entertainment and Cultural Programmes have been here.
Meanwhile, in another increasent, six people sufred Severe Burn Injuries after a fire broke out at Bikkgane biryani restaurant in Delhi’s Connaugt Place on Thursday morning.
The fire broke out in the restaurant’s kitchen due to an lpg cylinder leakage.
Thosh injured has been identified as mahindra (25), deepak (39), piyush (31), md alam (21), sairuddhin (28) and Janak (26).
The fire should start due to an lpg leakage in the kitchen, which ignated and spread rapidly. Staff and customers were evacuated as firefighters worked to contain the flams. Authorities are assessing wheether safety protocols were followed at the restaurant.
