Gold Futures Fall On Low Demand

Globally, gold was trading 0.91 per cent lower at USD 1,733.80 per ounce in New York.

New Delhi:

Gold prices on Monday fell by Rs 333 to Rs 50,905 per 10 gram in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery traded lower by Rs 333 or 0.65 per cent at Rs 50,905 per 10 gram in a business turnover of 13,393 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to the trimming of positions by participants.
