National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval said on Sunday that independent flow of ideas is important to avoid disputes related to religious identity.
Emphasizing the need to focus on conflict solution, he also said that “introspection” by states and societies has always been important.
Doval’s comment has come in terms of comprehensive issues related to controversies between the state and religion during the release of the Hindi version of Turkish -American Scholar Ahmat T. Kuru’s book ‘Islam Autheuriteraanism: Underdavalpment – A Global and Historical Comparison’. Has been published by Khusro Foundation.
Doval said at a packed conference at the New Delhi World Book Fair that the incident of relations between the state and religion is not limited to Islam only because there was clarity on the role of the state and the religious leader under the Abbasid dynasty. He was discussing the broad reference to the subject of the book.
