New Delhi:
Story
Sahil Kaushal lives in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh with his wife Sangeeta Kaushal. They have two children – Yuga (Pavail Gulati) and Reet (Deeksha Joshi), who live out of Kannauj in connection with work. Sahil (Ashutosh Rana) works as an accountant in a perfume factory, but he sings very well and always wanted to become qawwal. He gave up his hobby to feed the family and became an accountant. At the same time, his wife Sangeeta (Shiba Chadha) makes a very good perfume and wanted to do this, but could not make it a business in the run of life.
The smell of love blows between this couple and the sourness between the two increases so much that they think of getting divorced. For the next story, you have to watch the film. Now let’s talk about how the film is.
Features
1. The theme of the story is new and fresh. No one had touched it in Hindi cinema till now. This is the story of families whose children leave their parents in small cities in connection with work. The film is made with full honesty and it is also left from commercial pressures. Seema Desai and Siddharth Goyal should get full numbers for this unique story.
2. The film shocks emotionally. In this, some scenes and moments have been fabricated, which leave a deep impression on the audience. It was a great decision to choose Kannauj, a perfume city for the story. The way the equality between perfume and love is depicted, it is comfortable. The authors have added the declining demand of Kannauj perfumes and the feeling of declining love in relationships in a very beautiful way. The dialogues of the film are also fantastic and capture the language of a completely middle class family.
3. Shiba Chadha and Ashutosh Rana are less praised. Ashutosh Rana is continuously experimenting these days and has also been successful in it. There is also sharpness in his character and love, as well as the impression of the small town. At the same time, Shiba Chadha has played the role of a wife and mother who lives life by mashed. Powel, Isha, Brijendra Kala and Deeksha also do justice to their characters.
4. Director Seema Desai is praised, as he chose such a sensitive story for his debut. He has put the lives of the families of small towns on the screen well. This story may have been happening in many houses, but very few people may have come to the idea of imprisoning it in the camera.
Dictatorship
1. If the screenplay of the film started directly with the life of Kannauj of the family, then it would have been better instead of his son’s life.
2. Music, especially background score, seems a bit weak in front of the emotional depth of the story.
3. The songs are fine, but not so effective that even after watching the film, stay on your tongue or you lukewarm them.
