US President Donald Trump has announced the implementation of tariffs on countries like Canada, Mexico and China after returning to power. Trump said that promised to impose more fees on various industry. Trump has reiterated his plan of 25 percent tariffs on imports from neighboring countries Canada and Mexico, saying that they have failed to tighten the flow of illegal migrants crossing the US border and Phantanelle. Trump had said a few days ago that threatened to levy 10 percent fee on Chinese goods.
White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt confirmed the imposition of the tariff from 1 February on Friday. He said that both Canada and Mexico have allowed illegal Pentanel to target which is killing American citizens and immigrants in our country. He did not commit to exemption on the areas and dismissed the warnings that would start the trade war. Let us tell you that after the announcement of imposing tariffs on three countries, Trump said that preparations are being made to put tariffs on oil and gas from February 18. He said that we are also preparing to put tariffs on chips. However, he has not specially named any country during this period.
Trump has also said to impose more tariffs on the imports of aluminum, copper and steel. Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday that if Trump takes action, he would react immediately, while Mexican President Claudia Sheenbam said that his government was in close contact with Trump’s administration.
Trump has not mentioned the specific device that he will use, although analysts suggest that he may use emergency economic powers that allow the President to regulate imports during the national emergency.
China has rejected the claims of its involvement in the deadly fennel trade. Canada, a close associate of the US, has counted it, saying that less than one percent of non-dominant migrants and fentasiles enter the United States come through its northern border.
Some analysts believe that the current trade agreement between the United States, Mexico and Canada, known as the USMCA, is again a bargaining trick to speed up the conversation. But the tariff hike will probably prove to be a major setback, which will shake the supply chain.
