New Delhi:
Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has suffered a major setback from the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi. The court has directed the Delhi Police to register an FIR in the alleged misuse of public funds to impose large hoardings against him and other AAP party leaders.
The Delhi court accepted a petition to register an FIR against Arvind Kejriwal and other party leaders.
The court directed the police to file a compliance report by 18 March with this order.
The Delhi Court has ordered the police to register these FIRs against former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and others for allegedly damaging public property.
The case is related to a complaint filed in 2019, claiming that Kejriwal, along with former AAP MLA Gulab Singh and Dwarka councilor Nitika Sharma, misused public funds by putting up big hoardings in the entire area.
