New Delhi:
Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal says that the public is being openly threatened in Delhi, AAP workers are being attacked and the Delhi Police is doing nothing, the police of Delhi is helpless. Today is the last day of the assembly election campaign in Delhi and the era of allegations is not taking the name of stopping. Delhi has assembly elections on 5 February and results will come on 8 February. If the Aam Aadmi Party is a challenge to preserve the power of Delhi, then the BJP is trying to fate the fort of Delhi after 27 years.
Accusing the Delhi Police of not doing anything, Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘We saw how people are being attacked in the last days. Aam Aadmi Party workers are being attacked. Janma is being threatened. People are being openly threatened- come to BJP or else, they will do it… they will do it… are openly fighting. Attacks are happening, violence is happening and policemen are standing and watching. The police is helpless, helpless and destitute, she is unable to do anything. However, it is not that the police do not want to do anything, but they are not able to do anything.
Arvind Kejriwal alleged, ‘This is the first time in the history of Delhi elections, when party workers as well as journalists are being targeted. Some journalists were attacked in Delhi last night. The police allowed the attackers to flee and took the journalists to the police station. These journalists were kept in the police station all night. This incident has not happened in the rural area of any outer Delhi. This incident took place within a radius of one kilometer of Parliament House and Election Commission. From this you can guess what is the situation in Delhi these days.
Kejriwal said, ‘In such a situation, if the government of double engine comes in Delhi, then they will crush people with this engine. The safety of the people is the first, if people are not safe, then how will the work go on. Therefore, the public will give a suitable reply to these people.
