Advocate of the petitioner said that after 144 years, more than 66 crore devotees came from the country and abroad on the prediction of Mahakumbh and Amrit rains and the Central and State Government made unprecedented arrangements with crores of rupees for the event, but due to the negligence of the fair administration, there were many disturbances. Due to administrative negligence, the finger was raised on the purity of Ganga water. In this regard, he presented a copy of the previous order of the NGT and the report of BOD, COD. During the debate, it was also said that due to the negligence of the administration, only a few were open in the Pantoon Bridge, due to which the bathrooms were 30-40 km. Had to walk.
The government had arranged a shuttle bus for the bathing people, but it was negative due to the negligence of the fair administration. Due to this apathy, excessive fare was charged in hotels and boats of the city. There was no proper arrangement for food, water, gold and bathrooms for the bathing people, while crores of rupees were approved by the Uttar Pradesh government.
It was also said in arguments that the stampede of Mauni Amavasya was also due to administrative negligence. The drone system was not working. The report of stampede incidents and information about the people affected by it has not yet been given to the government.
