Tilhar, Amrit thoughts: The child driving stray animals from the farm was shot under suspicious circumstances. The child died on the way to the district hospital. The child’s father has filed a report against the school manager and his son. Police sent the body for postmortem.
Ramkhilauna, a resident of Babupur village of Kotwali police station area, said that his village is on the border border of Tilhar and Nigohi police stations. At around 11:30 pm on Wednesday night, he was guarding the holiday animal crop with his 12 -year -old son Ranjit. Meanwhile, some animals came to the field, who went with Ranjit Danda to escape. Vidya Secondary School is some distance from his farm.
He said that Virpal Verma, a resident of school manager Mahmadpur village and his son Akash alias Virat, were entertaining Holi with their licensed rifle and desi pistol. It is alleged that Virpal and his son Akash opened fire on his son Ranjit, who was driving the animal, which caused him to be bled.
Shivkumar and others guarding the fields admitted the injured Ranjit to Nigohi CHC. From where the doctor referred him to the district hospital. On reaching the district hospital, the doctor declared him dead. On the death of Ranjit, his mother Maya Devi, brother Dharamvir and Rajkumar, sister Chandrakali Laxmi and Jyoti are in a weeping condition. On the other hand, Kotwal Rakesh Kumar said that the police team is engaged to arrest the accused.
