The proceedings of the budget session of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly will start again today. The third session of the 16th assembly has started from 31 January. Assembly proceedings will start from Question Hour at 11 am. This time the session of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly can be very rude. The Bhajanlal government is preparing to introduce a new conversion bill in the assembly. In the House, the anti -conversion religious bill will be introduced ‘The Rajasthan Prohibition of Unloful Conversion of Religion 2024’. The bill will be prohibited from forcibly or tempting conversion.
‘Love Jihad’, provision of strict punishment on conversion
Even 16 years ago, in the year 2008, the conversion bill was introduced during the Vasundhara Raje government. But the bill could not be implemented due to stuck in the center. Under this new bill, if a person converts and marries, the court can declare him invalid. Apart from this, the collector will have to give information 60 days in advance even after converting with consent.
