Bareilly, Amrit thoughts: A heartbreaking case has come to light during Ramadan in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. In Gharampur village of Faridpur police station area, bike-riding uncle-nephew was shot dead by unknown assailants on Thursday morning. This double murder caused a stir in the area.
Indiscriminate firing dies on the spot
The deceased have been identified as Daulat Khan (50) and his nephew Rahis Khan (32). According to the information, both were going to the farm on the farm on the bike on Thursday morning, when the attackers already ambushed fired bullets on them. After the attack, the accused escaped from the spot.
Local people immediately informed the police, after which senior officials rushed to the spot and started the investigation. Several kiosks have been recovered from the scene, which makes it clear that the firing was done very closely.
Case of old rivalry, police engaged in investigation
Preliminary investigation by the police has revealed that Daulat Khan himself was also accused of a double murder and came out of jail on bail last year. There was a rivalry with some people of his family about a murder in 2019. The police suspect that the murder may be the result of the same dispute.
According to Bareilly SSP, the initial investigation revealed the matter of family rivalry. The police have started searching for the potential accused behind the murder and arrest is being claimed soon.
Increased patrol in area, accused will be arrested soon
Since the incident, the police has increased patrolling in the entire area. Several teams have been set up in search of the suspects. Police officials say the murder will be revealed soon by catching the culprits.
