Modi government has presented the second budget of its third term. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman (Budget 20) has taken special care of elders, farmers, youth, employed people, women in Budget 2025-26. . Taxpayers have been given any tax on the income of up to 12.75 lakh rupees.
Let us understand in 13 points, what big announcements the government made in the budget. How much budget was allotted for which sector:-
1. No tax on income up to Rs 12.75 lakhs
Now the employed people will not have to pay any tax on income up to Rs 12.75 lakh annually if you choose a new tax regime.
-The government will directly waive the 10% tax on income of Rs 4-8 lakh and Rs 8-12 lakhs on income of Rs 4-8 lakh in New Tax Reset.
Apart from this, standard deduction of 75 thousand rupees will also be available.
In this way, the total income of 12.75 lakh people will be tax free.
-The limit of TDS has been increased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh for sanyar cities.
Now for 4 years, income tax returns will be filled, ITR had to be filled in the first one year.
-The government will introduce a new income tax bill next week.
2. What cheap and expensive?
36 life saving drugs (medicines) including cancer have become cheaper. The government has removed custom duty from these medicines.
-Opening cell and other component duty has been reduced to 5%. This will make electronic goods cheap.
-LCD/LED TV prices will be reduced, because basic custom duty has been removed on the open cell that makes it.
-Electric vehicles will become cheap. EV has been included in the list of 35 Additional Goods Exgued Capital Goods for Battery Manufacturing.
Now mobile phones will also be available at a lower price than before. Its battery has also been included in the list of Goods Accused Capital Goods.
-The government has removed custom duty from weight blue leather. That is, now footwear, leather things and handbags will become cheap.
Critical minerals have also become cheaper. Custom duty has been removed from cobalt powder lithium-ion battery best.
-Chip manufacturing has also become cheaper. On this, zero custom duty will continue for the next 10 years.
Along with this, clothes, medical devices made in India have become cheap.
-Importand shoes, imported candles, solar cells, smart meters, lowed fabrics, flat panel displays have become expensive.
3. 2 schemes for women
-5 lakh lakh women and SC/ST have announced to launch a new scheme for entrepreneurs. Under this, there will be a cheap business loan.
For the first time entrepreneurs, the first time entrepreneurs will get a term loan of Rs 2 crore in 5 years.
Under the competent Anganwadi and Nutrition 2.0 scheme, 8 crore girls and 1 crore pregnant and breastfeeding women will get nutritious support.
4. Amazon-Flipkart, Jomato’s delivery boy bat
-Modi government has made a big announcement for Gig Workers in the General Budget 2025.
-The government will give an identity card to one crore gig workers. They will be registered on the e -ram portal.
While presenting the Bajat 2025-26, Sitharaman said that this scheme will implement this scheme with the aim of socio-economic upliftment of urban workers.
This decision of the Modi government will benefit a major benefit to the unorganized sector workers, Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, Swigi’s delivery boy and Ola-Uber’s drivers in part-time jobs in e-commerce companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Jomato, Swigi.
5. Kisan Credit Card Limited 5 lakhs
In the Bajat, the Modi government has taken special care of the Annadata i.e. farmers. The loan limit on Kisan Credit Card will be increased from 3 lakh to 5 lakhs.
-‘Pradhan Mantri Dhanadhanya Yojana’ has been announced for farmers. The government will run this scheme with states. 1.7 crore farmers will get help.
– The next 6 years will be a focus to increase the yield of pulses like lentils, tur. Makhana Board will be formed in Bihar, this will benefit small farmers and traders.
– Special credit cards will be issued to small industries, 10 lakh cards will be issued first year.
Loan guarantee cover for MSME will be increased from 5 crore to 10 crore, 1.5 lakh crore.

6. Youth in budget on youth
-There have been special announcements for the youth in the Bajat. The loan for startup will be increased from 10 crores to 20 crores. With the contribution of Rs 10,000 crore, funds will be arranged for startups. There will also be a decrease in guarantee fees.
In medical education, the announcement of increasing 75 thousand seats in the next 5 years and additional infrastructure will be prepared in five IITs.
Apart from this, IIT Patna will be expanded. Credit cards for small industries, 10 lakh cards will be issued first year.
7. Cancer medicines will be cheaper
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that 36 life saving drugs (life saving medicines) will be completely abolished. Cancer Day Care Centers will be set up in all government hospitals. Treatment of cancer will be cheaper. Custom duty on 6 life saving medicines will be increased to 5 percent.
8. Gift for vendors and small businessmen
-MSME Credit Guarantee Covers for Skeeping Enterprises will be increased from Rs 5 crore to Rs 10 crore.
This will provide an additional Rs 1.5 lakh crore credit in the next five years.
-The range of credit cards adapted for grave enterprises will be Rs 5 lakh.
-The scheme will be started under Make in India for Khiluna Manufacturing.
-The loan limit of PM self -representation scheme for Scorite Vendors will increase to 30 thousand rupees.

9. Relief to common man
-The government has removed cess from 82 goods. This will make mobile and TV cheap.
In addition to affordable housing in 2025, 40 thousand units will be completed.
-Power distribution and transmission companies will be strengthened.
-40,000 more houses are expected to be built in 2025 under the Swamih scheme to complete the housing projects.
-1 lakh more houses will be built in SSWAMIH FUND 2 to Rs 15,000 crore.
-Kyc (Know Your Customers) will be revived in 2025 to make the process easier.
10. AI 500 crores for education
Announcement of giving Rs 500 crore for education and 3 AI Excellence Center for education
In the next 5 years, announcement to build 50 thousand Atal Tinkering Lab in government schools.
-Government will connect government middle schools to broadband connectivity under Bharat Net Project.
In medical education, it has been announced to increase 10 thousand seats in the next 5 years. With this, every year 10 thousand new doctors will be formed in the country.
Along with this, additional infrastructure will be prepared in five IITs.
-TCS will not be imposed on education loans up to Rs 10 lakh taken from some special financial institutions.

11. Day-care cancer in district hospitals
There is a plan to build a day-care cancer center in all district hospitals in 3 years. In 2025-26, 200 days will be built.
Broadband connectivity will be provided in all primary health care centers.
-Gig workers (online delivery boys) will be connected to Jan Arogya Yojana.
-It has also been announced to increase the FDI limit from 74% to 100% in the settlement region.
12. Partnership with private sector for nuclear mission
It has been announced to start a mission to develop 100GW nuclear energy by -2047. Active partnership will be done with the private sector.
-Nuclear Energy Mission has been announced for research and development of small modular reactors.
By -2033, at least 5 indigenously developed small modular reactors will be operational.

13. Turism and Connectivity
There are plans to connect 120 new cities in the next 10 years through the ignorance scheme.
-A plan to start the Greenfield Airport Project in Bihar has been announced.
-50 top tourist destinations will be developed in partnership with the states.
-Medical tourism will be promoted through ‘Heel in India’ scheme.
