Btsc vacancy recruitment: A lot of employment possibilities have arisen in government hospitals of Bihar. Bihar Technical Services Commission (BTS) has recently issued a notification for recruitment to different posts. This recruitment process, which started from 11 March 2025, is going on for different posts, including the posts of Pharmacists, Dresser, Dentist and General Medical Officer. Overall, the Commission has sought applications for more than 8,000 posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts by 8 April 2025.
Pharmacist – 2473 posts
Dresser – 3326 posts
Dentist – 808 posts
General Medical Officer – 667 posts
Apart from this, earlier BTSC also started the recruitment process for the posts of OT Assistant, X-ray Technician, ECG Technician and Lab Technician.

Applications for all these posts have started from 11 March 2025, and candidates can apply till 8 April 2025. The application process will be on the official website of BTSC (btsc.bihar.gov.in).
Eligibility and Educational Qualification for Application
For Pharmacist – Candidates should have a diploma in pharmacy and registration in Bihar Pharmacy Council is necessary.
For the dresser – The candidate will have to pass the matriculation examination and the medical dresser should be a certificate.
For Dentist – Degree in dental surgery should be obtained.
General Medical Officer – Candidate should have a medical degree.
The age limit for all posts has been set from 18 to 37 years, although the age limit will also be given as per the rules of the state government.
Examination and selection process
The appointment for all these mercury-medical posts will be done on the basis of written examination. A total of 75 marks will be given in the written examination, while the candidate’s experience will be evaluated up to a maximum of 25 marks per year.
Application fee
The application fee for unreserved class, MBC and EWS candidates will be Rs 600.
The application fee for reserved category of Bihar, women candidates and disabled candidates is Rs 150.
The application fee for candidates of other states will be Rs 600.

Exam dates for recruitment
Exams will be conducted on different dates. The insect collectors’ examination will start from April 14, while the laboratory will start from April 26, the examination of Technical, Surgery Room Assistant, ECG Technician and X-ray technicians. Expert medical officials (such as surgeon, gynecologist, pediatrician, etc.) examination will be held from 27 April. All exams will be in online mode.
