The chariot of BJP’s victory has reached Haryana. The party has registered a spectacular victory in nine out of 10 municipal corporations of the state. He is scheduled to win in the 10th Municipal Corporation as well. The BJP had earlier registered a spectacular victory in the local body elections of Uttarakhand, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. There are BJP governments in these four states. In this way, now three engines have become a government in these states. The people of these states have once again expressed confidence in BJP. This year is BJP’s fourth win. In February last month, in the Delhi Assembly elections held in February, the BJP formed its government by registering a stunning victory. The special feature of Haryana Municipal Body elections is that women have been elected mayors in seven of the 10 municipal corporations. This year, the Congress’s performance in the municipal elections of three states so far has been very disappointing.
BJP mayor in nine out of 10 municipal corporations
According to the results of Haryana Municipal Elections announced on Wednesday, BJP has won nine out of 10 municipal corporations. The special thing about this election is that the Congress did not open an account in any municipal corporation. In Rohtak, who was considered a stronghold of Bhupendra Singh Hooda, the Chief Minister of Haryana, Congress candidate Surajmal Kiai suffered a defeat by a margin of more than 45 thousand votes. He was defeated by BJP. Congress veteran Kumari Selja is an MP from Sirsa. But BJP has also won in Sirsa Municipal Council.

BJP’s Praveen Joshi has won Faridabad, Praveen Popli, Hisar, Renubala Gupta, Komal Saini, Panipat, Ram Avatar Valmiki, Rohtak, Suman Bahmani won the post of Mayor in Gurugram Municipal Corporation. On this magnificent victory, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini has thanked the public and said that the government of the triple engine will develop the people.
Women dominated in mayors
Out of the 10 municipal corporations of Haryana, women have been elected mayors. Male mayor has been elected in only three municipal corporations. Women who have been elected mayors include Raj Rani of Gurugram, Suman Bahmani of Yamunanagar, Komal Saini of Panipat, Praveen Batra Joshi of Faridabad, Dr. Indrajit Yadav of Manesar, Salja Sachdeva of Ambala and Renu Bala of Karnal. In Faridabad, BJP’s Praveen Batra Joshi has made a new record of victory in the municipal elections by winning this election with three lakh 16 thousand 852 votes. At the same time, Rajiv Jain in men, Ram avatar Valmiki in Rohtak and Praveen Popli Mayor in Hisar have been elected.
In this election, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini was sweating heavily in the election campaign.
Elections for the post of Mayor were held on March 2 in Faridabad, Hisar, Rohtak, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Gurugram and Manesar in Haryana. At the same time, the by -election for the post of Mayor in Ambala and Sonipat was also held on March 2. Voting was also held for 21 municipalities of the state on March 2, then the voting was held for Panipat Municipality on March 9.
Kamal was also fed in Uttarakhand municipal elections
Earlier in January this year, elections of municipal bodies were also held in Uttarakhand. BJP also had great success in these elections. Out of the 11 municipal corporations of the state, BJP’s candidate was able to win the election of mayor. The BJP managed to build its mayor in Dehradun, Rishikesh, Kotdwar, Pithoragarh, Haldwani, Kashipur, Almora, Kotdwar, Haridwar, Roorkee and Rudrapur. BJP could not win only Srinagar seat. Independent Aarti Bhandari won from there. The Congress remained vacant this time, while earlier in the 2018 elections, the Congress got two seats. In that election, BJP won five municipal corporations.
People of Gujarat and Chhattisgarh also supported BJP
After this, in the local body elections held in Gujarat last month, BJP also won the victory. The BJP had won in Junagadh Municipal Corporation (JMC) as well as 60 out of 68 municipalities and all three taluka panchayats. The local body elections in Gujarat were voted on 16 February. The Congress was able to win only in the Salaya municipality of Devbhoomi Dwarka district, while the Samajwadi Party (SP) had won in two municipalities.

Along with Gujarat, municipal elections were also held in Chhattisgarh. The BJP had performed brilliantly there too. Elections were held in 10 municipal corporations, 49 municipal councils and 114 municipal panchayats of the state. The BJP won all the 10 seats of the mayor. The BJP won 35 seats in the municipality and 114 seats in the Nagar Panchayat. The Congress won only eight in the municipality elections.
